Julius Ceaser
Today we watched the video 'The conspiracy of Julius Cesar'. They were talking about power. If some man had too much power and if you were his closest friend would you try to stop him..The same thing happened in Rome in 44 BC. Rome first had an emperor than some men stopped this. They made a council so no man should have too much power. Julius became a leader of Rome. He was winning wars, he bacame very rich. Rome was becoming big very big. The people built statues to honor him. They built buildings and they renamed a month Julius but today we call it July that month is for Julius Cesar. He died on the 15 of May when they stabbed him.He arranged a meting when he was going to the council and over 60 people with knifes killed him. They stabbed him from all sides.A close friend was with the killers and when Julius Cesare saw him he gave up the fight. Some say what the friend did was an act of betrayel but some people said what he didn't want Julius Cesare to be handling that much power. When Julius Cesare died his close friend Marcus Antony lead Rome but wasn't that powerful like Julius was.

Questions That Nobody Knows the Answers To
So today we are going to talk about questions that nobody
knows the answers to. Some questions are very difficult and nobody on this planet knows the answers . I got inspired
from a video it is about the galaxy and there are two big questions. Do you
think that multiple galaxies exist. I think yes they do oldolel I’m not very shure . Sientists don’t know the answers,
we don’t know the answers and how knows
the answers. Maybe we will find the answers one day.
Yes every galaxy is made of atoms and if every atom
containes a galaxy of it’s own and that proses repeats then perhapse
there are a trillion galaxies . If so many galaxies existed then maybe there is a copy of you. And that copy of you lives in some of those
galaxies and it lives a difrent live.
Maybe your copy is more sucsesfulf then you are. Maybe your copy has graguated
and married the person you liked. That is a very difficult question.
The second question I am going to dicuss is about life on the other planets. Some say
that uefos and aliens land on the planet very often other people say there is
no life in our galaxy. Life only exists on the planet Earth. This is a very
intresting question maybe life exists
and the aliens have smarter technology then
ours. Maybe they don’t want to show it to us and they don’t want to show them selfes. Maybe they are flying in space with there
space ships who knows?

The Science of Tsunamis
Maths
inches, feet, yards, miles compared to millimeters, centimeters, meters, kilometers
Why you can’t see tsunamis far from shore?
Tsunamis are caused by energy originating under water from a volcanic eruption,a submarine landslide,or most commonly an earthquake on the ocean floor caused when the tectonic plates on the Earth's surface slip releasing a massive amount of energy into the water. When it's far from shore, a tsunamis can be barely detectable since it moves through the e of the entire depth of the water. But when it reaches shallow water something called wave shoaling occurs.Because there is water to move through this massive amount of energy is compress.
The immense swell of a tsunami can grow up to 100 feet (35.6 meters), hitting speeds over 500 mph (800) kmph-- a treacherous combination for anyone or anything in its path.
Scientists are seeking to reduce their destruction power in the future.
Maths Problem to solve
If you are interested to compare a tsunami with this building you can see the diference. Or post a comment here and tell me: How many times is this building higher that the tsunami wave.

Christopher Columbus- What Really Happened
Children in the US learn that Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492 but since there were millions of people living on the American continents when he arrived what is Columbus's real importance in history this video will show what really happened during his voyages between two worlds and
how they helped shape the two worlds we know today 1451 Columbus was
born in the Republic of Genoa. there his sailing career but in 1477 he
was hired as a merchant mariner or King John second of Portugal. Portugal
steam power on the seas colonizing Atlantic islands and establishing
trade with African kingdoms but the 1480s there naibors found out the Indian
Ocean was on the other side in Africa. This discovery gave them a fast
and cheap route to the rich goods of Asia. During Portugal's rise in power a curb of European scholars Stobbart was smaller then what previously believed this man one could reach Asia by sale West because in the newly invented printing pres.Columbus read about these recent theories and wasn't thrilled with the idea of sail for riches. He tried to get funding for an expedition from Portugal, but king John didn't believe in theory. He then tried France, England and Spain. No luck until 1492, when the Spanish sovereigns Ferdinand and Isabella decided to help find three ships for a voyage. They saw Columbus as a means to compete against Portugal susses. The NEA Peter and Santa Maria set sail on August 3rd 1492 after stopping gran canary the rest of the trip took five weeks on October twelfth land was spotted it was an island and at dawn Columbus wanna sure because he believed in the small earth theory Columbus thought he was near Japan 's he called the natives the silent Indians because India was what many Europeans called Asia at the time the natives who really called but I emailed Taino . Trade began between the two parties but it was clear that the taino did not possess the fabled britches of East Asia however some of them were called this jewelry Columbus 's hungry for gold to bring back to Spain. He wandered around searching for large amount of gold to the Santa Maria until it crashed into a reef Hispaniola. Columbus left 39 men at the site to build a colony.
He promised that he would return for them and sailed back to Spain.
When he arrived in Europe he was famous. He had sailed into the unknown and returned to tell the tale

Vasco De Gama, The 15th Century Mariner
Listen here
Vasco de Gama is representing the Portuguese exploration. A couple of things about Portugal in the 15th century.
1. It was resource poor.
2. It had a fair bit of coast line.
This meant that Portugal relied upon trade to grow.
Also the Iberian peninsula was the only place in Europe where Muslims can be found in large numbers in the 15th century, which meant that the Christian Crusading spirit was quite strong there, presumably because Muslims had brought so much stability and prosperity to the region. The chief among these would-be crusaders was prince Henry the Navigator. And all that knowledge gave Portuguese sailors a huge competitive advantage when it came to exploration.
He was, however, a patron not only of sailors themselves, but of a special school at Sagres in which nautical knowledge was collected and new maps were made and all kinds of awesome stuff happened.
Henry commissioned sailors to search for two things. First a path to the Indian ocean so that they could get in on the lucrative spice trade, and second to find the kingdom of Prestor John, a mythical Christian king who was supposed to live in Africa somewhere, so that he could have the help of Prestor Johnn in the crusade.
The Gama was the king Henry's protegese to make it around Africa and into the Indian Ocean. In 1498, he landed at Calicut, a major trading center on India's West coast. And when he got there merchants asked him what he was looking for.
He answered with three words: Goald and Christians, which basically sups up Portugal's reasons for exploration.
So once the Portugese bridged the Indian Ocean, they didn't create like huge colonies, because they were already powerful empires in the region. apparently they sat in the middle of the Indian Ocean doing nothing. Actually they were able to capture and control a number of coastal cities, creating what historians call a "trading post empire". They could do this thanks to their armed ships, which captured cities by firing cannons into city walls like IRL Angry Birds.
So since the Portuguese didn't have enough people or boats to run the Indian Ocean trade, they had to rely on extortion. So Portuguese merchant ships would capture other ships and force them to purchase a permit to trade called a cartaz and without the cartaz, a merchant could not trade in any of the towns Portugal controlled. To merchants who sailed the Indian Ocean for years in relative freedom the Portugese were just glorified pirates, extracting value from trade without adding to its efficiency or volume. So the Cartaz strategy worked for a while, but Portugal never really took control over the Indian Ocean trade. They were successful enough that their neighbors Spain, became interested in their own route to the Indies.

Researching the Ocean Life
Here is a new drawing today. The man, dressed in a wet-suit is me, because I am exploring the ocean. I am a scientist.
You can also see a big blue shark, an octopus, a big yellow fish, some colorful little fish swimming in groups, a sea star, a crab, some water plans and how the ocean's bed looks like.
The ocean is beautiful because it has many creatures. The humans threaten the lives of these creatures by throwing garbage, toxic waste and oil spiels destroy their habitats.

The secret lives of baby fish
Today, over half of the world’s reefs are threatened by human activities. How do you think the complex early life of coral reef fish might complicate reef conservation?
With oil spills, toxic waste and garbage .Those things kill the fish and destroy their home in the oceans, seas lakes and rivers.
Over 90% of the coral reef fish kept in saltwater aquariums and sold at pet stores in the US and Europe are collected from the wild. Why might these fish be wild-caught rather than farmed in captivity.
It may be cheaper for the saltwater aquariums owners to get them from the wild.
If you were a biologist interested in coral reefs, how might you study the large-scale geographic movements of tiny baby fish?
If I were a biologist interested in coral reefs, I might study the large-scale geographic movements of tiny baby fish by submarine, suit and chip attached to some larvae and camera connected to a computer, like GPS.

Why do honeybees love hexagons?
The bees are beautiful creatures. Bees don't have hands or beaks. They live in hives. Because when they make the honey they need a place to store it. Their hive is made out of wax. They make the wax from honey. The inside of the hive is with hexagons. Honeybees are great mathematicians. The honeybees store their honey inside them.

My Hobby: Collecting Ninja Cards
Hello people!
Here on this post, I'm going to tell you about my hobby collecting teenage mutant ninja turtle cards. The turtles are good guys. Their names are Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and Leonardo. They fight crime in New York.
Donatello has a ninja stick for a weapon and he uses other weapons like smoke bombs. He knows computers and machines very well. Raphael is a turtle, too. He has huge forks for a weapon. He never backs out of a fight. Michelangelo and Leonardo are good guys. Leonardo has two blades to fight.
With these ninja turtle cards you can play games with your friends. If your character on your card is stronger you win and take his card.
If you are interested, you can find these cards in Chipicao croissants. By the way, they are very tasty.

The Japanese Samurai Civilization
The samurais are very cool. The samurais are from the old Japan. Here, on my drawing, the yellow sign, you can see the samurai code written in Japanese. I got the inspiration for this drawing from the movie 'The last samurai' which is very exciting. You can download it, because I think that you can't see it in the cinemas, at least here. First of all, because it is an old movie. The movie 'The last samurai' was played by Tom Cruse, whom you probably know from his many movies. The samurais are ancient Japanese warriors who lived in the 12th century.
