In this video you can see one of the most popular inventions.This smart board is mostly used in clasrooms and in companies.Through this board we can communicate with other students or co workers around the world.We all know about the fascinating inventions in 21st century. Let's leave aside the board and our technology, have you ever thought about how did the language and letters came to be  because with out them we can't communicate. Well in the following text you can learn something about  the language and letters.
The emergence and development of the letters.
Speech and writing are essential for mutual understanding among people. They are
basic characteristics which distinguishes man from other living beings.
The letter appeared around 3200 years BC in the states of the Ancient East.
First appeared pictorial writing in Mesopotamia and Egypt. The Chinese
letter appeared around 2000 years BC.
Pictorial alphabet consisted of small drawings that are connected to logic
whole to express a thought. Gradually, some drawings are replacing only
a sign or used mixed drawings and signs. Such was Egyptian
hieroglyphic script, as painted stone or written on papyrus.
In Mesopotamia, cuneiform developed. There are written with a sharp
subject to clay tiles. Graphical signs gradually acquired the form of wedges,
in which letter it received its name.
The latest appeared voice letter, which invented Fojnikijcite.
That letter was the simplest, and served as the basis for creating other letters
(Greek, Latin and Cyrillic). It reads mostly on clay tablets, and
later on papyrus and parchment.

Comic Books

The period of comic books started in the 1930s. The comic books firstly were like a giveaway presents to advertise household items like soap and other items. Because of the success of the comic books they later were sold as an regular item for one dime. The comic books were so successful that there were loots of different comic books made. The first popular franchise of comic  boos was the comic book funnies. The popular character Superman first appeared in a Action comic book. Batman pearled one year later. These two characters rose to fame very quickly , but not only in the US but across the world.Soon these characters stared in their own comic books. The popularity of comic books was fast growing and 90% percent of the children were reading comic books.

Dissociative Identity Disorder

Dissociative identity disorder is a psychological condition in which the patient's identity  dissociates, fragments, thereby creating multiple independent personalities in one person. When a person suffers from this condition they may have a few or more personalities.The personalities are different in more ways. There are 2 true examples of 2 women suffering from that condition. The first case is the woman named Eve, she had  22 different personalities. There is a film made based on the book ,,The 3 faces of Eve'' written by Corbett Thigpen. The role of Eve is played by Joanne Woodward. The film was made in the 1950s  The title 'The 3 faces of Eve' is given because Eve could play 3 personalities at once. Two decades later Flora Rheta wrote a book about Carolyn Sizemore  titled ,,I'm Eve". The second well-known case of a woman suffering from this disorder is Sybil.  Flora Rheta wrote a book about Sybil's experience.A film by motion pictures followed.

Wrigley's Chewing Gum

Wrigley's chewing gum was actually made  to be given away as a premium product. In his teenage years Wrigley worked as a soap salesman in his father's factory.The selling price for the soap was 5 cents, The sales were high but not very profitable.
Wrigley convinced his father to make the price to 10 cents and trow in a premium gift.Wrigley's idea increased the sales rapidly. A few years later Wrigley opened his own factory for merchandise. He  sold products with premium gifts. As the sales of his products increased because of the premium gifts he needed a new idea for a premium gift.This is why the idea for chewing gum was born. The premium gift soon reached a big popularity. Wrigley decided he should sell chewing gum as a regular product rather than a premium gift.Wrigley introduced two new flavors witch were fresh fruit and mint. To this day these two flavors are his most popular.

Football Lovers

This pictures are drawn on Paint.I love football (soccer) so I thought the most interesting thing to do on Paint is to draw footballers.I watch football every weekend and in Tuesday and Thursday  the Champions League.The Champions League is a competition only in Europe and only European clubs can compeet. If you're club is in a week league you have to go through

 qualifications or if you are in the better leagues like the English,French,German,Italian,Spanish and some other powerful leagues only the fist few places qualify.My favorite club is FC Barcelona from Spain and is the title holder because we won the Champions L. last year.Down you can see  drawings of footballer,2 are on Paint and you will recognize the one on paper.

Brown Dwarfs

Brown Dwarfs are celestial bodies formed in a similar way as the planets.But some scientists say that brown dwarfs are similar to stars but this isn't true because dwarfs can't generate the same amount of energy as the stars.Because of this brown dwarfs are hard to spot from our planet and because of this they are hard to study for scientists.It takes 1 million years for a brown dwarf to form,then it takes 2-3 million years for it to cool off.The surface of the brown dwarfs is 75% hydrogen.The mass of a brown dwarf is 8 times less than the mass of the sun.It is presumed that the planet Jupiter is a brown dwarf,but some scientists say that theory is wrong.This theory may be right because of some similarites.But this isn't all of the information for the brown dwarfs,if you find more information plea

The Clovis Culture

Archaeologists have found lost of places in North America that contain these tools.This tools are very sophisticated and they were made by the Clovis culture.The Clovis civilization was one of the biggest civilizations in the old world.The name of this civilization came from their place of living which was Clovis near New Mexico.The first of the tool that the Clovis culture produced was found in 1932 by e few archaeologists in New Mexico.The Clovis civilization migrated all over North America.The Clovis people moved in groups containing 40-50 people.This civilization was a fast growing civilization,it's population was very big.The Clovis tools are the most sophisticated tools found from the Old World.From what we know the Clovis civilization was one of the most big and most smart civilizations in the Old World.

The History of Stamps

Stamps were invented in England in 1837 by Sir Rowland Hill.The idea of stamps was based on the weight of the letter or package,not by the distance.Soon other countries followed the example of England.The first stamp was made with a portrait and was printed in .1840 by the name ,,penny black''.The stamp was made for light letters weeing 14 grams or less.In 1843 Brazil was the next country  to make national posts.The next country to make stamps was Switzerland.Stamps arrived in the US in 1847,the US make post for 10-5 cents.The congress of the US put the stamps in use and they spread in every city in the US.In 1860 more than ninety countries used the stamps.Soon there were thousands of different stamps.

The Universe

There is much more to learn about the pulsars.The pulsars is a phenomena for tiny radio bursts caused by spinning neutron stars.This phenomenon was discovered in 1967 by Jocelyn Bell a graduate at the Cambridge University.

Quickly after he discovered this phenomena scientists started  debating about whether this signal is caused by another civilization (little green men) or a bursting star in the Crab nebula.

As more pulsars were found more and more debates were held and more theories were made. However, no one knows for sure which theory is true. Some say this pulsar was created by dwarf stars. But this theory was quickly rejected because the dwarf stars can show a pulsar that is so fast.

But one other theory is widely accepted, and that is the Lighthouse theory.The Lighthouse theory tells that the spinning neutron stars emitting beams of  radiation that sweep the sky. Some think that's why the pulsars are so quickly emitted on the special research machines.

In witch  theory do you believe in? In my opinion, the best theory is the theory with the little green men.

Post it-notes

Post-it® Notes were invented in the 1970s at the 3M Company in Minnesota quite by accident. Researchers in 3M were working on developing different types of adhesives, and one particularly weak adhesive was useful.The employees needed to find a use for this notes.One of the employees found a use when he suggested that it should be applied to a pace of paper and use it like a bookmark.

The  adhesive was very sticky and it was reusable.Then the 3M company went to other cities to introduce the new product for the people,sadly that didn't go well.Then they decided to go to another city to take another try.But this time they went only in the offices and similar places,they gave away free samples and return to see if the costumers liked it.They returned a week later,and the product got very famous and the people found a better use.

The product got really famous in the USA,it's fame grew to different parts of the world. After years of success the company realized that they can make different types of the post-it notes with a different color and shape. The 3M made over 400 types of post it notes. That is how the post-it notes were made.

Coral Colonies

Coral colonies live in water.They can't survive in water that is to dirty,the usually live in waters with 22c and more.But why are they important to us ?Because they control carbon dioxide in the water,they have evolved for millions of years to do this.Most of the people  think that they are just rocks that are in the oceans and the seas.But polyps live with in these coral reefs,for example the same thing is with the turtle and it's shell.Watch the video below and you will get more information on these creatures and in the video you will get a better answer on your questions about these creatures.

Theodore Dreiser

Theodore Dreiser was born on the 1871 in a large family.His family was rich before he was born,they had a successful working factory to only loos it in a fire.Theodore spent most of his childhood with his family moving from one place to another trying to reestablish themselves economically.He left home at sixteen year's old to Chicago alone, he supported himself by working odd jobs.After he made some money he attended the University of Indiana only for one year and then returning to Chicago because he felt the city like home and it was glamorous and fun.At the age of twenty-two he started working for a small newspaper Daily Globe in Chicago.Later in his life he will work for other newspapers in  in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Saint Louis, and New York city.In his work as a reporter he would witness the seamier side of life and he the lowest class of people like : Beggars,working poor, robbers and so on.  Dreiser first tried his hand at fiction by writing short stories rather than novels, and the first four short stories that he wrote were published.Based on this he was encouraged to try his hand at writing novels.His first novel was to explain the harsh real life and the people's lust for money by the a fictional female character who came to Chicago poor and becoming famous on Broadway  by manipulating every one who is in her path.Theodore found a company to publish his novel,the novel wouldn't rise to fame that quickly because the publisher wanted Dreiser to change the novel and add more interesting descriptions.But Dreiser refused and the publisher didn't advertise his novel and it sold only 500 copies.Because of this Dreiser had a nervous break down meaning he had headaches, didn't sleep for days and was stressed.Dreiser was about to committee suicide but his brother stopped him and then took him to a sanatorium in White Plains New York.After recovering he started being a editor in a newspaper Butterick's .He eventually managed to purchase one-third of the company so they could  copy his novel Sister Carrie and in it's first year it sold 4500 copies and in it's second it sold over 10.000 copies.And that is how the author Theodore Dreiser rose to fame and sparked a new page and genre in the world's and Americas literature.

Rewilding

A longtime ago predators ruled our planet. But as the time went by and the farming became industrialized more land was needed. As a result, forests were cleared for farming and the animals were driven out of their homes.

After years of using these fields, they become useless, because the plants have drained all the vitamins,

There are two ways to restore nature. One possibility is with cloning the animals. The cloning can happen if we have the DNA of the animal we want to clone. For example in Great Britain they have tried to clone the the old living creatures from their frozen remains.The second way is by re-wilding, by bringing back the animals and letting the nature take it's course.

However, this isn't an excuse to drive people of their lands.This process should happen if we want our planet to be normal again.

Should we eat bugs?Today bugs are the most hated species on the planet.Take the mosquitoes for example everyone hates them because they bite or sting us and then it leaves a mark on the infected place. But a long time ago bugs were eaten as a snack or lunch. But today when we think of that we get grossed out of just the thought of eating bugs. But today in some places like in Mexico, they eat bugs. The Greatest Treasure

Some people think money, gold and jewelry are more important then friendship.  Well, they are wrong, because money, jewelry and gold are not more important than friendship. Today you have money tomorrow you don't. Friendship is forever, like they say "Money can't buy happiness."  

I usually play games outside, watch sports and learn together with my friends.We talk about secrets.We help one another when we need help.

Towns Hit By Snow

This a crossword about a story I did.The story is interesting and you can see the words that were used in the story.In the picture you can see the word global there are global problems with pollution,terrorists,nuclear weapons,hunger,global warming and diseases.  We people  cause these problems with our actions,we need to watch what we are doing.We have to be careful what we are doing because we are hurting the planet.We shouldn't throw trash every where we should throw them in special container for plastic,glass,paper and metal and they will be recycled.To save the electricity by turning of the lights when you don't need  them, you  will save money , electricity and the snow in Antarctica
Save water by taiking a shower instead of a bath.

My Week

My week was not so good,why?I had a lot of homework,but I did have a good time with my friends.The external test is close another 2-3 weeks.I have a lot of questions.But after the test I will go on a  summer break for three months.This whole week i went to bed like 1-2 am,i watch movies,i play video games with my friends online.Every day when I am not at training I am outside with my friends.When it's night we play hide and seek,so this was my week.

Fire Alarm

Jennifer's ears were ''talking'' to her.She heard annoying sound while she was cleaning the black board after the class.She knew what the noise was it was the fire alarm.Jennifer walked and checked the room's.In one room there was 7 students.She told them to get out immediately, the students were packing there things.The night supervisor came.They waited for the firemen but the school police came.It was a false alarm the school policeman turned it off.But it was too late for Jennifer because had listened to the alarm for too long.

Be Careful

Simon got a monthly bill  that he didn't like.His internet provider Wink automaticly withdrew $15 from his checking account every month.This was called direct payment. this meant one less  check every month.Simon had a direct payment with his phone company,his gas company and his electric company.He had a bunch of checks.One day Wink had withdrew $75.Simon went online to check his account.Part of his Increase was because he switched from slow dial-up to a faster DSL account.Wink had charged him $15 for hid dial-up and $15 for his DSL account witch was strange because a computer only used one of those accounts not both.Simon went online to find Wink's 800 number.
We all know that the internet and life can be tricky so be careful about your actions.

Shower

Ben decided to take a shower not a bath. He got in the bathroom. Ben turned on the faucet for the hot water.The water wasn't hot enough,he turned the facet all the way to the right.The water was hot enough.Then Ben turned the leaver that was between the hot and cold water faucets, when he pulled

Pit's

Pete was in the kitchen.He was about to cut three green apples, he liked to sprinkle cinnamon on them.Then he grabbed a big, light knife from the drawer.The knife's handle was brown and hallow. Pete opened the blinds so that more light could come in the kitchen. On the side of the knife there was written: "Surgical stainless knife".Pete bought the knife 20 years ago at a county fair.It was one of those knife's that was advertised on the TV.The sails man guaranteed that the knife's edge is stainless and that the knife could easily cut throw a tomato can.The knife was great but also dangerous.A while a go Pete was carelessly cutting a potato when the knife got his finger.The doctor put three stitches in his finger,the doctor told to be more careful next time. Pete was very careful and he didn't use the knife almost a year.

HORSES TO RIDE

Jan went to the stable. There were 4 horses. Jen took Moonbeam. He was 7 years old, big, black and brown horse. A litle later her sister came out with another horse. AT THE THRIFT SHOP

Jim went to the thrift shop. He wasn't looking for anything in particular. He liked to  go there just to browse. A big sign on the door said OPEN.The thrift shop opened at 10 a.m. and closed at 2 p.m.The thrift shop didn't work only on Sundays and Mondays.

Two women worked at the thrift shop. They were volunteers, and one lady worked in a big room in the back. She put price tags on the clothes that were brought.Their only payment was that they could buy and see the clothes that were brought in before the costumers did.

Jim walked in and said hello. One of the women said hello too.She knew him  because he was a regular costumer. Jim asked what was new. The woman laughed and said that nothing was ever new in a thrift shop. Everything that was brought in was old and used.

Jim looked at a watch that was in a plastic display case and asked if he could see it.

NANCY AND HER SON

Nancy just moved to America with her 8-year old son. Her son was all she had. Nancy only spoke her native language. Nancy and her son found an apartment in Arcadia.They were there only 2 months.

One day the neighbors' dog jumped over the fence.The dog ran towards Nancy's son. Then Nancy got between the dog and her son. Nancy screamed at the dog turned and walked away.Nancy was ready to punch the dog in the nose. They stayed in the apartment that weekend.

Then they found another apartment that was close to her son's school. Nancy and her son walked everywhere.

One day her son started to cough really badly. He had an asthma attack.The walking was making his asthma worse. Nancy knew she needed to buy a car.

She called the Honda dealer and told him that she needed to buy a car. She spoke to a man who knew her language. She told him to pick her up.

PETS

This is a story that really made me sad. It's about two dogs who were a brother and a sister, Bugs and Bunny.

Jim and Alicia had two dogs. The girl was Bunny and the boy was Bugs.The dogs were really close. Bunny was older then Bugs, and when she would decide to sleep Bugs would go next to her whether he was sleepy or not.

One day Bunny wasn't feeling so well, and Jim and Alice took the dogs to the vet. The vet said that Bunny was in a great pain, and that she could live 1 more year in pain. However the vet said that he could put Bunny to sleep. Jim and Alice knew that Bugs couldn't live without his big sister,so they decided to put Bugs to sleep too.

A 10 YEAR OLD BOY

Steven Arny is a 10 year old boy.He is funny and likes sports.He plays with his soccer and basket ball in his room.He likes to play with his friends.He likes to imagine that he is a soccer star and simulate that he is giving a goal.His favorite subjects at school are Math,Art and English.He doesn't want to clean up his room and he tells his mother he will clean it up tomorrow.

Steward Albert is a ten-year old boy. He is tall and he is very intelligent. He goes to school. He has excellent grades. In his free time, he plays on the computer or plays outside with his friends. He likes to make jokes and laugh.
He easily gets bored and changes activities all the time. He usually draws, plays on the computer or plays outside with his friends. At school he likes  to play jokes on his friends. He makes the girls chase him by calling them names of soccer stars. At home he plays with soccer and basket balls inside. Sometimes when he is bored, he listens to music and watches videos on youtube. He sings along with the songs he is playing on the computer. He likes riding his bike when the weather is good.
