Dissociative Identity Disorder


Dissociative identity disorder is a psychological condition in which the patient's identity  dissociates, fragments, thereby creating multiple independent personalities in one person. When a person suffers from this condition they may have a few or more personalities.The personalities are different in more ways. There are 2 true examples of 2 women suffering from that condition. The first case is the woman named Eve, she had  22 different personalities. There is a film made based on the book ,,The 3 faces of Eve'' written by Corbett Thigpen. The role of Eve is played by Joanne Woodward. The film was made in the 1950s  The title 'The 3 faces of Eve' is given because Eve could play 3 personalities at once. Two decades later Flora Rheta wrote a book about Carolyn Sizemore  titled ,,I'm Eve". The second well-known case of a woman suffering from this disorder is Sybil.  Flora Rheta wrote a book about Sybil's experience.A film by motion pictures followed.
